Dr. Rudolf von Hanstein has been admitted in Germany and he is a member of the Berlin Bar Association
(Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin, Littenstr. 9, 10179 Berlin, info@rak-berlin.de).
He is subject to regulations governing the legal profession, including the Federal
Attorneys’ Code (BRAO), the Law on the Remuneration of Lawyers (RVG), and the Code of
Conduct for Lawyers in the European Union. These professional regulations are available

Dr. Rudolf von Hanstein is also a notary public, admitted in Germany with official residence in Berlin.
He is a member of the Berlin Chamber of Notaries Public (Notarkammer Berlin, Littenstr. 10, 10179 Berlin,
info@notarkammer-berlin.de). Supervising authority for the notary public are the Präsident/Präsidentin des Kammergerichts, Elßholzstraße 30-33, 10781 Berlin and the Präsident/Präsidentin des Landgerichts Berlin II, Littenstraße 12–17, 10179 Berlin. As notary public he is subject to professional regulations,
including the Federal Code of Notaries Public (BNotO), the Notarisation Act (BeurkG), the
Administrative Directive on Notaries Public (DONot), the Code of Costs (GNotKG), the Guidelines of
the Berlin Chamber of Notaries Public, and the European Code of Conduct for Notaries. These

The professional indemnity insurance is provided by the ERGO Versicherung AG, Victoriaplatz 1, 40198 Düsseldorf.
The territorial scope of the insurance coverage comprises legal advice in Europe and complies at least with the
legal requirements pursuant to sec. 51 of the Federal Lawyers’ Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung – BRAO).
